About Our School

The Moon (1).png

Assalam o Alaikum and greetings to all. We extend a warm welcome to our Sunday school community at the Islamic Center of Tacoma. As a center dedicated to the teachings and practices of Islam, we believe that education is an integral part of our faith. Our Sunday school provides a platform for members of the community to deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings, engage in meaningful discussions, and build a sense of camaraderie with like-minded individuals. With over a hundred students across six grades, we are proud to offer a comprehensive curriculum that covers a wide range of subjects, including Quranic Studies, Juz Amma, Islamic studies and the fundamental principles of Islam. We offer an optional Arabic language class as well.

Our dedicated and experienced teachers are committed to providing our students with the tools and resources they need to develop a strong foundation of knowledge and faith. We also offer a variety of engaging and interactive activities for our younger students, helping to make the learning experience both enjoyable and enriching.

At the Islamic Center of Tacoma, we take great pride in providing our community with a welcoming and inclusive environment, where individuals of all ages and backgrounds can come together to learn, grow, and thrive.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and look forward to seeing you at our Sunday School sessions. May Allah swt guide us all on the path of knowledge and righteousness.

Sincerely,
Dr. Saadia Wahid
